I guess I naively expected that the grief would be more linear-get better each day but that is NOT how it is-it comes in waves and slaps me upside the head when I do not expect it. HOW COULD IT BE that my boy is gone? I had him for 50 years and he is GONE. Thanks for expressing this so beautifully.
